Growing with PERSEVERANCE
"TAYO ANG DRAYBER NG ATING BUHAY, ANG MINIMITHING TAGUMPAY SA KAMAY NATIN NAKASALALAY"
You may have been confronted by homework, quizzes, projects,
and tests constantly keep you on your toes, not to mention other concerns that
keep your workload full.
How do you deal with tasks given to you?
How do you
feel when things you need to do seem endless?
What spells the difference between achievers and
non-achievers? It is patience or perseverance. No matter how intellectually
gifted and skillful you are, if you do not have the proper attitude towards
work, you may end up not developing your potentials; thus, you will not become
an achiever.
Perseverance is not inborn quality, but it is acquired and
developed by a person who is determined to succeed. It is indeed a virtue. It commands
discipline. It shapes character. It leads to success.
To be able to do and to complete a difficult task,
perseverance is required. With perseverance, a person does things with a strong
determination to finish the task whatever the difficulties and challenges
maybe. The may take longer, but the person with perseverance is willing to wait
till he or she is able to achieve what he or she hopes for. Perseverance keeps
you going even if you feel like giving up.
4 things you can do to persevere:
1. Don’t think about failing
2. Remind yourself that you can finish
3. Push yourself
4. Get people to encourage and support you.
